Moscow Mule Drinks for the Holidays

If you’re a lover of vodka, there’s a pretty big chance that you love a great Moscow mule. The Moscow mule is a favorite of many people all over the world, so it makes sense that there would be some new and great variations of the drink for the holidays. Cranberry Moscow Mule

The first drink to look at is probably one you would expect. Vodka cranberry pairings have been very popular over the last few decades, so a cranberry Moscow mule is an expected and welcome addition to this tasty beverage. Just grab your favorite glass, and pour in 2 shots of vodka, juice from half of a lime, 2 ounces of cranberry juice, 4 ounces of ginger beer, stir with ice, and garnish with lime wedges and cranberries. A bonus of this drink is that it’s great for your digestive system and urinary health when consumed in moderation.

Rosemary Mule

This drink is a slight twist on the Moscow mule using gin instead of plain vodka and the addition of rosemary to the mix. In this version, you might decide that you want the ginger beer to be a bit heavier to mellow out the gin, so you could add 6 ounces of ginger beer, 2 shots of gin, a small handful of frozen cranberries, and a rosemary sprig for flavor and garnish.

The trick is to make your basic Moscow mule, but with 3 ounces of ginger beer and 3 ounces of apple cider. You can garnish it with cinnamon and apple slices so that you can get that fully authentic flavor.

Peach Moscow Mule

Peach is a fruit that is often underused when it comes to making drinks. To make a peach Moscow mule, you can simply make your regular Moscow mule with slight modifications.  You would use 2 ounces of ginger beer, to make room for 2 ounces of lime juice, 2 ounces  of vodka, and freshly sliced peach to garnish and flavor your drink. This drink should be served with ice for the best experience.
